The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Office (Disparekraf DKI Jakarta) is participating in the prestigious World Travel Market (WTM) 2024, taking place from November 4–6, 2024, in London, UK, at Booth N9-255. The presence of Disparekraf DKI Jakarta at this international tourism exhibition aims to introduce Jakarta’s unique tourism appeal to global travelers and industry players, strengthening its position as a leading travel and business destination in Southeast Asia and the world.
At WTM, Disparekraf DKI Jakarta is presenting the theme “Explore Jakarta, Discover Indonesia,” highlighting a range of tourism potentials, from MICE and leisure to culinary and cultural attractions, as well as showcasing the city’s advanced infrastructure and modern accommodation options. Jakarta is also being promoted as a business hub with comprehensive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) facilities, ready to host international events under the tagline “Jakarta Nice For MICE.”
Visitors to the Jakarta booth at WTM London can explore detailed information on prominent tourist sites, including Jakarta Old Town, Ancol, and the Thousand Islands. Additionally, visitors can experience traditional Betawi crafts, such as Batik Gobang Betawi, with demonstrations by local creative artisans.
The Jakarta Tourism Office also emphasizes world-class hospitality with Jakarta’s tourism and cultural ambassadors, Abang None, representing the city. They are actively involved in business matching sessions with international travel agencies to build strategic partnerships, expanding access for international tourists to Jakarta. Alongside five co-exhibitors, including Hotel Wyndham Casablanca Jakarta, Dwi Daya Tours, Universal Tour, Gelora Bung Karno, Hotel Artotel Senayan, Lisa Tour and Travel, and in collaboration with the Directorate General of Immigration, which promotes the golden visa at the Jakarta Booth.
